Wise Central Source

The wise central source for artists to self-publish and distribute their creations.

Who I Am

I'm Maria K. Markel — an artist, author, and the wise central source for fellow creators. I've spent my life making things by hand: books, paintings, sculptures, manuscripts. Now I help other independent artists do the same — to self-publish their work and put it into the world on their own terms.

What I Do for Artists

three small services, offered with care

Self-Publishing Guidance

I help artists prepare, format, and self-publish their work — books, manuscripts, illustrations, and creative writing.

Distribution Support

I help independent creators get their work in front of readers and audiences without going through big publishers.

Creative Consultation

From one working artist to another — guidance on bringing your creations into the world your way.

Coming to the Source

A shared universe — being built together.

A new chapter of Wise Central Source is on the way. Soon, independent artists will be able to stream their work directly through the Source — a home for audio and visual creations from creators around the world.

ComingSoon

Audio Streaming

(coming soon)

A home for independent musicians, podcasters, and spoken-word artists to stream their work to listeners.

Visual Streaming

(coming soon)

A home for filmmakers, animators, and visual storytellers to share their work with audiences.

Start from scratch from your own home and bring your creations alive in this shared Universe — as we build it together.

How We Work Together

1

We Talk

Tell me about your project, your vision, and what you've already made. Every artist's path is different.

2

We Plan

Together we map out how to bring your work to readers — the format, the timing, the distribution.

3

We Publish

I guide you through each step. The work stays yours. The credit stays yours. The vision stays yours.

Reach the Source

If you're an artist who wants to self-publish or distribute your work — write to me.
